EQUESTRIAN DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS

Adrienne Urrutia Wisenberg has been riding and showing horses for more than three decades. She is an active hunter exhibitor on the A-show circuit in Virginia and Maryland, and spent many years competing in multiple disciplines in Texas.

The horse show industry is regulated, in the United States and internationally, by governing entities that discipline their members, both professional and amateur, through complex sets of rules, regulations, and administrative procedures.

Trainers, owners, exhibitors and show managers often face strict penalties for rules violations, and each accused party has specific rights and responsibilities during the administrative process.

The rules and procedures that govern these members are often less than self-explanatory. In such instances, the advice of counsel with experience in the horse show world is essential. Mrs. Wisenberg is available for discreet consultation on these matters, and may, if necessary, appear as counsel during the administrative grievance process.

Mrs. Wisenberg is a member of the U.S. Equestrian Federation, the U.S. Hunter Jumper Association, the Virginia Horse Shows Association, and the Maryland Horse Shows Association. She and her horse, Looks Like Riley, train at Cavallo Farm in Leesburg, Virginia.
